An angry crowd of residents confronted a Nigerian man suspected of stealing phones and set the tricycle he was riding in ablaze, in a shocking display of jungle justice that has stirred reactions online.
The incident was captured in real time and shared in a series of TikTok videos by eyewitnesses, who filmed the chaos as it unfolded on the street.
According to the videos, the suspect was intercepted while inside a tricycle, which was then forcefully stopped by a group of residents. The man was dragged out and accused of stealing mobile phones from members of the public.
