A man has taken to his social media page to expose an abandoned block of flats in his neighborhood, which he claims is owned by a politician.
The man shared a video showing the rundown state of the block of flats, which he says has been left uninhabited for over a decade. According to him, the flats were originally constructed by the alleged politician more than 10 years ago. He also revealed that the building has not been put to any use since its construction, with no tenants living there during this period. In his post, the man expressed frustration over the situation, revealing that the politician has refused to lower the rent charges for the flats or offer a more reasonable price for potential buyers, which he believes is why the property has remained abandoned.
The man also provided further details, saying: “This house dem build am for over 10 years ago. Na somebody wey work for government. Instead of him to reduce the price of the rent or reduce the price he wants to sell it for, he just abandoned them here. Nobody lives in these flats. They are all laying abandoned.”
