A Nigerian lady has tearfully cried out online after her boyfriend was allegedly killed by his best friend following a tragic dispute over land.
This heart-wrenching story was revealed in a post shared on TikTok, where the grieving woman narrated the painful circumstances surrounding the loss of her loved one. She explained that her late boyfriend had been friends with the alleged attacker for 17 years, but their friendship fell apart last year due to a disagreement over a parcel of land.
According to the grieving woman, the former close friend had reportedly been threatening to shoot her boyfriend on multiple occasions. Despite these threats and her own deep concerns, including a vivid nightmare warning her against the meeting, her boyfriend decided to meet with the friend when he reached out to reconcile.
She revealed that they had already reported the threatening friend to the police because he kept saying he would “put a bullet in his skull.” Nonetheless, on the night of the tragic event, her boyfriend left their house around 11 p.m. He had initially told her he was attending a show that started at 9 p.m., but later mentioned he would stop by to meet his friend afterward.
Tragically, the meeting did not go as hoped. She claims her boyfriend was ambushed and shot multiple times—three times in the chest and once in the shoulder—by his so-called friend and accomplices.
In a deeply emotional statement recorded in the video, she said: “It took me a lot of courage to hold my phone and make this video.”
She continued, “My man was killed by his friend, someone he called his best friend. His childhood friend. Someone he has been friends with for 17 years because of an issue they have over a land.”
“This issue has been ongoing since last year, and they stopped being friends because of it, not until this year when, two days ago, the friend reached out to him that they should meet and settle their differences. I already had a nightmare and told him not to go.”
“We had already reported the friend to the police, stating he kept saying he would put a bullet in my man’s skull. By 11 p.m., he left his house and told me he was going to see the friend.”
