A Nigerian lady has been publicly exposed for allegedly stealing and using another woman’s identity on Tiktok to deceive unsuspecting men and scam them out of large sums of money. This shocking revelation has sparked intense debates and reactions online, with many people calling for stricter measures against online impersonation and fraud.

The incident came to light after a viral post on X (formerly known as Twitter), which was shared by user @dammiedammie35. The post contained a video that captured the heated moment when one of the victims finally confronted the suspect for using her personal photos and private information to create a fake TikTok profile and lure men into romantic scams.

In the widely circulated video, the real woman whose face was used could be seen angrily confronting the impersonator. She called her out in strong words, saying: “With my face you’re talking to your friends? Which friends do you have? You didn’t post your own face for them to fall in love with—you used mine. Look at your requests—over 800 people have requested you!” Her emotional outburst highlights the deep violation and betrayal felt by victims of identity theft.

She also demanded answers from the suspect about her deceptive tactics, questioning, “Why did you claim to live in the U.S.? How did you get those identity cards? How did you pull this off? You didn’t want people to see your face, but you’re boldly using mine to scam others.” Her questions pointed out the elaborate and deliberate effort put into creating the fake persona.

The confrontation has since gone viral, sparking widespread outrage and intense discussions across social media platforms. Many users took to the comment sections to express their shock, anger, and disappointment over the rising cases of online scams, particularly those involving romance fraud and fake identities on social media apps like TikTok.

Some users criticized the suspect harshly, while others emphasized the need for more awareness and caution when engaging with strangers online. Many called for the immediate arrest and prosecution of the impersonator to serve as a warning to others who may be involved in similar fraudulent activities.
