A shocking case of online romance scam has emerged involving a TikTok personality known as J-Love, an American man who has allegedly defrauded multiple Nigerian women out of thousands of dollars by posing as a romantic partner.

According to viral reports and video testimonies shared online, the women fell victim to a calculated scheme where J-Love presented himself as a charming and committed foreigner seeking love and partnership in Nigeria. His fraudulent scheme has reportedly resulted in the loss of over $10,000 by one victim alone.

One of the affected women, speaking in a video that surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), recounted how she ignored several early red flags due to his nationality. “There were lots of red flags from the beginning but again, he’s an American,” she confessed. She added that she had funded his entire flight from the United States to Nigeria in hopes of building a life together, only to later discover that she had been used and defrauded.

She shockingly revealed that during their time together, J-Love gained access to her sensitive financial information, including credit card details, account credentials, and even her digital signature. “He had all my credit cards, my signature, and even listed me as next of kin while applying for loans,” she lamented. In addition, she discovered disturbing emails in his inbox related to child support claims and unresolved financial obligations in the U.S.

The woman went on to explain that she endured emotional abuse and manipulation, often being gaslighted whenever she raised questions or doubts about his actions. “When I asked questions, he’d say, ‘Who broke you?’ He made me feel like I was the problem,” she said, describing the psychological toll of the experience.

The disturbing revelation has sparked intense conversations across social media platforms, with many users expressing disbelief, sympathy, and cautionary advice for others who may be susceptible to similar scams.
