Juventus, one of Italy’s top football clubs, have reportedly reignited their interest in acquiring Jadon Sancho from Manchester United, and they are allegedly preparing a significant transfer package involving two of their current players to secure the deal.
According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Turin-based club is eager to revisit their pursuit of the England international, which originally failed last summer when Chelsea swooped in to secure a loan move for the winger. Sancho’s future at Manchester United has remained uncertain, and with his current contract at Old Trafford set to expire at the end of the 2025–2026 season, the Red Devils are now open to letting him leave permanently.
The Italian outlet suggests that Juventus are considering presenting a swap deal that would see two high-profile players—striker Dusan Vlahovic and midfielder Douglas Luiz—included in the package for Sancho. Both players are currently in a transitional phase at Juventus, with their long-term roles at the club under question.
Dusan Vlahovic, a Serbian international forward, has a contract with Juventus until 2026, but he is reportedly not interested in signing a new deal. The striker is believed to be exploring opportunities outside Italy, and Manchester United may be willing to meet his financial expectations, especially with a potential striker vacancy looming at the club.
On the other hand, Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz, who previously starred for Aston Villa in the Premier League, is also seen as a valuable bargaining chip. His return to English football could help Juventus balance their books amid ongoing Financial Fair Play (FFP) concerns, making his inclusion in the swap deal strategically beneficial.
As talks reportedly progress between both clubs, it remains to be seen whether Manchester United will be convinced by the offer or seek additional financial compensation to part ways with Sancho, who is still viewed as a valuable asset despite his recent struggles for form and consistency.
