The startling incident was brought to public attention through a post on X (formerly Twitter), featuring a video in which the suspect openly confesses to his crimes, igniting widespread concern and outrage across social media platforms.

Identifying himself as Yinka, the suspect disclosed that he operates under a man named Fatai and collaborates with several accomplices who have participated in multiple abduction operations over the years.

Yinka admitted to traveling repeatedly to Ilorin to carry out these kidnappings and confessed to abducting numerous children, so many that he could no longer keep track of the total number of victims.

In his chilling statement, he said: “I’m Yinka from Osogbo. I came to kidnap. We get paid ₦10 million. I’ve done many jobs in Ilorin.”
