Tragedy has struck Nollywood as fast-rising actor, Evans, and Director of Photography Nnunu have sadly passed away, leaving the entertainment industry and their fans in shock and mourning.
The heartbreaking news of their untimely demise was shared by veteran movie producer, Stanley Ontop, through an emotional post on Instagram. In his message, Stanley Ontop revealed that the duo’s tragic passing followed a seemingly innocent gesture from a movie director, who had purchased drinks as a token of appreciation for their hard work on set.
According to Stanley Ontop’s account, Evans and Nnunu consumed the drinks, but several hours later, they began to complain of severe stomach pain. At first, fellow crew members and actresses on the set believed that the discomfort was nothing more than a minor issue, which they expected to pass. However, as the pain worsened, it became apparent that the situation was far more serious than initially thought.
Despite efforts to get them the help they needed, the two were rushed to the hospital, where they were tragically pronounced dead upon arrival. Their passing has left the Nollywood community in deep shock, with many expressing their grief and disbelief over the sudden loss of two rising stars. Following the incident, security operatives have launched a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding their deaths, particularly regarding the drinks they had consumed.
