A heartbreaking tragedy has occurred as 19-year-old Serbian model and social media influencer, Tijana Radonjic, has sadly passed away.
The devastating incident reportedly happened on May 28, 2025, while Tijana was vacationing in the popular tourist destination of Budva, Montenegro. She had embarked on a parasailing adventure that would ultimately turn fatal.
According to eyewitness accounts and early investigations, Tijana was enjoying a complimentary parasailing ride offered by a local water sports company, which was allegedly filming a promotional video at the time. She was accompanied on her holiday by her aunt, who was also present at the scene. Sadly, things took a turn for the worse when Tijana, reportedly overwhelmed by a panic attack mid-flight, made the tragic decision to unbuckle her safety harness while still airborne.
As a result, the young influencer plunged approximately 160 feet (about 49 meters) into the cold waters of the Adriatic Sea. Emergency responders arrived quickly, but Tijana had already succumbed to her injuries before she could be rescued.
Authorities have since launched a full-scale investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. This includes a thorough inspection of all parasailing equipment used, as well as interviews with the operators and witnesses. There is growing concern about the safety protocols followed by the parasailing company, and whether the operators were qualified and adequately trained to handle emergency situations of this nature.
In addition, an autopsy was performed on Tijana Radonjic’s body to determine the exact cause of death and whether any external factors may have contributed to the fatal fall. However, the results of the post-mortem examination are still pending as of the time of this report.
Tijana Radonjic had gained recognition online for her modeling content and vibrant presence on social media, where she inspired thousands of followers with her fashion sense, beauty, and travel posts. Her sudden and tragic death has left her fans, family, and friends in deep shock and mourning.
