Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has once again sparked reactions online as she issued a strong warning to her long-time rival, Lizzy Anjorin, stating clearly that Lizzy should be held responsible if anything happens to her or any member of her family, especially her children.
This heated declaration followed a recent incident in which Lizzy Anjorin celebrated on social media, claiming she had secured a victory in a defamation case allegedly filed against her. Lizzy, in her usual dramatic fashion, took to her page to announce that the case had been struck out by the court, suggesting it was a win on her side.
However, in a lengthy and emotional video shared on her Instagram page, Iyabo Ojo completely denied Lizzy’s claims. She explained that the judge did not strike out any active case as no hearing had even commenced. According to Iyabo, the judge only decided not to proceed with the matter at that time in the interest of peace.
“Lizzy, we have not started any case. The judge threw the case out because she wanted peace. I have been waiting for you to mention my name,” Iyabo emphasized passionately during the video.
Iyabo further addressed Lizzy’s continuous accusations that she always surrounds herself with people who allegedly bully Lizzy. Iyabo refuted this, asserting her independence in choosing her friends and associates. “You said I always associate with people that bully you. Lizzy, we are not friends, and I don’t owe you any explanation about who I choose to be close to,” she fired back.
She also criticized Lizzy for constantly dragging and attacking anyone she is seen with, describing it as a toxic pattern that has been ongoing for too long. Iyabo expressed her frustration with the endless online confrontations, stating that it was affecting her peace and that of her family.
Issuing a final serious warning, Iyabo stated clearly, “If anything should happen to me or my children, Lizzy, you should be held responsible.” This strong statement underlines the depth of the feud between the two actresses and raises concerns among fans and colleagues in the industry.
