Mage Kimambi’s caution was specifically aimed at preventing any content that might inflame or worsen the current political crisis, advising the couple to maintain discretion during this sensitive time.

However, Iyabo Ojo did not take this lightly and has since expressed her dissatisfaction and displeasure publicly through a recent Instagram post.

In her response, the acclaimed actress expressed outrage at Mage Kimambi’s boldness and deemed the warning as inappropriate and unacceptable.

She highlighted that the finances for the numerous wedding ceremonies of Priscilla and Juma Jux were provided by her own family, dismissing any insinuations that the government was involved.

Moreover, Iyabo Ojo firmly instructed Mage Kimambi to refrain from interfering in her daughter’s personal affairs, emphasizing the confidence and authenticity she has instilled in Priscilla as a parent.

Her full statement reads: “I’m appalled by your audacity! Referring to my daughter and her husband in such a manner, calling their content stupíd, and trying to drum fear and intimidation is unacceptable. As a parent, I’ve taught her to be confident and authentic.”

“Regarding the wedding rumours, it’s not your government that gave us money; it’s a cultural tradition in my family.”

“I’m an activist, and as one, I stand by my principles and fight for what I believe in, without insulting anyone or targeting anyone. True leadership requires presence and courage.”

“Keep my daughter out of your affairs. She’ll post what she likes, when, and how she likes. She doesn’t need you to love her. She is very loved and well-loved. We protect our own. Never forget that.”
