A fresh controversy erupts following reports of renowned Nollywood actor, Femi Branch, allegedly assaulting an assistant director on a movie set, sparking heated conversations within the entertainment industry and among fans.
A now-viral video currently circulating on social media shows Femi Branch in the middle of a tense altercation with members of the production crew. The actor is seen visibly agitated, raising his voice as the confrontation unfolds before stunned onlookers.
According to eyewitnesses on set, the heated exchange began when the director asked the actor to proceed with filming, but Branch allegedly refused and attempted to walk off the set and into his vehicle. The situation escalated when it was discovered that the gate had been locked, seemingly preventing him from leaving the premises.

“Violence of any form on a professional set is unacceptable,” the statement read. “We commend the production team for upholding the integrity of the filmmaking environment and encourage all stakeholders in Nollywood to prioritize mutual respect and safety.”
