Afrobeats sensation, Davido, has addressed Nollywood actress, Sarah Martins, after she made remarks concerning his recent business collaboration, ‘The 5IVE Kitchen’.
The drama started when Sarah Martins sparked a social media stir by suggesting that the food venture would have been more appropriately named after Chioma, Davido's wife, citing her exceptional cooking abilities.
According to Sarah, if the restaurant bore Chioma's name, it would resonate more deeply with fans, as it would serve as a tribute to her passion for the culinary arts.

Davido, however, wasted no time in responding. He took to the comment section of a post to clarify the misunderstanding and set the record straight.
In his response, he emphasized that ‘The 5IVE Kitchen’ was never meant to be a permanent restaurant or personal venture. Rather, it was a strategic promotional campaign in partnership with the FoodCourt app, aimed at marketing his new album, “5IVE”.
He further expressed his displeasure over the use of his wife’s image in Sarah’s post, ordering her to take it down immediately.
The DMW boss and ‘Feel’ hitmaker wrote, “U no get sense. no restaurant was opened that was a promotional campaign with @foodcourt_app for my album 5️⃣.. now take my wife’s picture off page”.
