Nigerian singer, Darey Art Alade and his wife, Deola, recently had a terrifying experience as they narrowly escaped a car fire outbreak while driving along the Third Mainland Bridge.
The incident, which occurred on June 6, 2025, was detailed in a heartfelt Instagram post by Deola, where she recounted the horrifying moment their vehicle suddenly caught fire.
According to her, they were extremely fortunate as no lives were lost in the fire. She emphasized how the experience served as a stark reminder of how insignificant material possessions become in moments of crisis.
Deola described the event as one of the most shocking and painful experiences of her life, acknowledging that while property can be replaced, human life is invaluable and irreplaceable.
She went on to express immense gratitude to God for His divine protection, giving thanks for the strength, safety, and courage to move forward from the traumatic event.
