In a recent emotional post shared online, Chisom Steve posted a screenshot of a direct message (DM) she received from a woman on social media. The actress, known for her powerful performances and expressive personality, did not hold back in her response.

The screenshot revealed the woman bluntly questioning Chisom’s conception status and cruelly asking if she was barren. The woman wrote: “Why are you not yet pregnant?. Abi are you barren?” This intrusive and insensitive question touched a deeply personal nerve for Chisom.

In her fiery response, Chisom Steve clarified that she is not barren and shared that she had actually experienced a miscarriage. She expressed how she had been silently dealing with the emotional pain and trauma of losing a child, a loss she had not previously made public.

“I’m not barren. I actually had miscarriage and I’ve been battling with the pain of losing a child,” she wrote, addressing the woman directly and powerfully.

Deeply hurt and angered by the unsolicited question, Chisom went on to pronounce a harsh curse on the woman for mocking her, declaring: “In your time of life, you shall be called barren and this curse will not be lifted by even the strongest man of God you think you know.” Her strong words reflected the pain and frustration felt by many women who face societal pressure and insensitive comments regarding fertility.

Following Chisom’s emotional response, the woman quickly apologized, claiming she did not intend to offend or hurt her feelings. She stated that she only asked the question out of curiosity and had no intention to cause pain or insult.

The woman wrote: “I’m sorry. I don’t know that it will offend you. I only asked a question. I’m not moving you,” as she tried to defend her actions and seek forgiveness.

The exchange has since gone viral, sparking conversations online about respecting personal boundaries, the importance of sensitivity when discussing private matters such as fertility, and the emotional toll of miscarriage on women.

Many fans and fellow celebrities have flooded Chisom Steve’s comments with words of support and solidarity, commending her for her bravery in speaking out and for standing up against public shaming.
