Popular Nollywood actress and singer, Angela Okorie, has sparked attention online after boldly flaunting her extensive travel history and old Nigerian passports to prove her claim of being one of the most traveled celebrities in the industry.
Taking to her Instagram story, Angela showcased her stack of expired Nigerian passports, revealing her consistent visa approvals and frequent international movements over the years. She particularly emphasized her travels to the United States, noting she has been visiting the country regularly for over 12 years.
In her post, Angela explained her love for traveling and the freedom it brings, though she clarified that she has no plans of permanently relocating outside Nigeria. She used the opportunity to send a message to new travelers who frequently share their travel experiences online, advising them to remain humble and take life at their own pace.
She also shared insights about the challenges Nigerians face while traveling, citing how the Nigerian passport often receives negative attention at foreign borders. According to Angela, immigration officials sometimes single her out for extra checks, but once they see the volume of visas and stamps in her passport, they let her through without issue.
Addressing the issue of visa denial, Angela wrote:
“If I tell you I have never been rejected a visa before, will you believe? I love being a citizen of America but my problem na l go gree stay?? I have been going to America for over 12 years I just like as I Dey enter Every country wey I want with my Naija passport, But this our Naija passport once Oyinbo site am next na step aside.”
She continued:
“If you step me aside when you open my passport na only you go tell me to go, Some of y’all just started making trips, e still get people wey pass me for making trips, So calm down and take life easy, you will get there.”
