In a viral video clip taken from one of his recent Sunday sermons, Damina questioned the conventional teachings of many churches regarding giving, making it clear that the funds collected during services do not ascend to heaven but remain on earth for human use.

“No offering goes to heaven. Every offering we collect is used by men. All the offerings we give to God go to men,” he said during the sermon, pointing out that the entire system of giving is handled by people and not by God himself.

Known for his controversial takes on Christian doctrines, Damina went further to criticize pastors who he claimed have turned tithing into a manipulative tool to enrich themselves at the expense of their members. He labeled such leaders as "tithe m0ngers," accusing them of perpetuating fear and guilt among followers to ensure consistent giving.

He said, “Those tithe m0ngers who say the windows of heaven will open when you pay tithes are lying. The doors have been open since Jesus rose from the dead. They collect from everyone but don’t give to anyone. I was there; I know how it works.”
